This small town which thrives on tourism was all but deserted, with no movement of either people or cars in the streets. Nothing was open, except the pharmacy busy with four pharmacists/assistants in attendance. Most of the houses were shut tight with no indication of life. The vacationers and the owners must have fled back to where they came from. It was nice to enjoy this small town which we had all to ourselves.
