101 nurses have left Cuba to assist Barbados in its fight against the Coronavirus.
This brigade was unique in two ways. It was the first mission to Barbados from Cuba and secondly this brigade was almost entirely consisted of women (95 out of 101).
During this corona crisis, Cuba has sent doctors and nurses to help St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica, Grenada and also to Belize.
This is something to be proud of, this solidarity, this desire to help and most importantly this ability to help.
